The bluebarry Shopify app connects your store to bluebarry in two ways: it runs your quiz scripts on your storefront and tracks purchase conversions back to your bluebarry dashboard. This guide walks you through the complete installation from start to finish.
Step 1 – Install the App
Go to the bluebarry app on the Shopify App Store and click Add app. You do not need a bluebarry account yet — you can create one during setup.
Shopify will ask you to approve the required permissions. Click Install app to continue.
Step 2 – Choose Your Setup Path
After installation, you will see two options:
- I'm new to bluebarry — Creates a new account and starts your 14-day free trial automatically.
- I already have an account — Connects the app to your existing bluebarry workspace using your Tenant ID.
Step 3 – Connect Your bluebarry Account
If you already have a bluebarry account, you need your Tenant ID and API key to link it.
- Log in to your bluebarry account
- Go to Integrations in the left navigation
- Copy your Tenant ID from the top-right corner of the integrations screen
- Click Create API key to generate a new key and copy it
- Paste both into the Shopify app setup screen
- Click Save
Step 4 – Enable the App Embed
The app embed injects the bluebarry quiz scripts into your active Shopify theme. Without this step, your quizzes will not appear on the storefront.
- In Shopify, go to Online Store → Themes
- Click Customize on your active theme
- Open the left sidebar and select App embeds
- Toggle on bluebarry Product Quiz
- Click Save
⚠️ Important
If the app embed is not enabled, none of your quizzes will be visible on the storefront — even if everything else is configured correctly.
