On Shopify, everything bluebarry shows on your store, from quiz buttons to search, popups and product chat, loads through one app embed: Bluebarry Core Script. If nothing appears, check that first. If only one thing is missing, the table below tells you where to look.
Check the app embed
- In Shopify admin, go to Online Store → Themes.
- Click Customize on your live theme. Make sure it is the published theme, not a copy.
- Open App embeds in the left sidebar.
- Turn on Bluebarry Core Script and click Save.
- Open your store in a private browser window and test again.
When one thing is missing
| Missing | What to check |

| Quiz button | Add the Bluebarry Quiz Button block to the page and fill in the quiz ID. On collection pages, the Quiz Button block shows the quiz linked to that collection. |
| Quiz popup | In bluebarry, turn on Show this quiz as a popup on the quiz's Launch tab. Or add the Bluebarry Popup Trigger app embed with the quiz ID. If you dismissed it, it waits before showing again. |
| Product check button | Add the Product Check Button block to your product template, and set up the product check in bluebarry. |
| Search | Turn on the search configuration on its Launch step in bluebarry. See the article on search, popups and product chat below. |
| Popups from the Popups app | No block is needed. Check that the popup is Live and its targeting. See the article below. |
| Product chat | For the inline or embedded style, add the Bluebarry Shopping Help block to your product or collection template. |
| Quiz banners on collection pages don't open, or the product order never personalizes | Collection pages load without the app embed, but their quiz banners, personalized product order and quiz matches need Bluebarry Core Script. Turn it on as above. |
| Recommendation block | Check that the bluebarry recs block has the right Block ID and that the block has products for that page. See Troubleshoot recommendations below. |
