Offer a Discount Code on the Result Page

Reward shoppers who complete the quiz with a discount code that appears on the result page. On Shopify stores, bluebarry can also apply the code automatically when shoppers reach checkout.

Attach a Discount Code to the Email Question

  1. Go to Dashboard.
  2. Open the quiz funnel you want to edit.
  3. Click Design quiz.
  4. Select the Email question in the question list.
  5. In Question settings, find the Discount code field and enter the code from your store (for example WELCOME10).
  6. If your quiz uses the Shopify embed, toggle Auto-apply on Shopify on.
  7. Continue editing the quiz or publish when you are ready.

Only one question in a quiz should carry a discount code. If you set codes on more than one email question, bluebarry uses the first email question that has a non-empty code.

Customize the Result-Page Label

The result page shows a default label such as "Your discount code: WELCOME10". When auto-apply is on, it switches to "Discount WELCOME10 will be applied at checkout". You can override that text per quiz.

  1. From the quiz editor, open the Result screen.
  2. Click the discount banner above the recommendations.
  3. Edit the text. The change is saved when you click away from the field.
  4. Leave the field empty to use the default copy.

The label limit is 200 characters. Use the code placeholder by simply typing the code value—bluebarry shows whatever text you save.

Shoppers see the banner in the same language as the rest of the quiz. The default banner copy is translated into English, Dutch, German, French, Spanish, Italian, and a fallback locale.
