What the bluebarry MCP is

MCP (Model Context Protocol) is the open standard that lets Claude use other software. Bluebarry ships an MCP server, so Claude can work in your store the way your team does in Studio: read the setup, make changes, show previews and publish what you approve. Build anything from one sentence

Describe what you want and Claude builds it as a draft, on your own products, in your brand's look.

• Quizzes and product finders. "Build a quiz that helps people pick the right running shoe." Questions, answers, filters and result cards, all matched to your catalog.
• Popups. "Add a popup that offers 10% off a first order, only for visitors from our spring campaign."
• Search. Synonyms, redirects, banners and merchandising rules: "Make tent also find shelters and canopies."
• Recommendations and offers. Frequently bought together, bundles with a set discount, a free gift at a threshold.
• Collection pages. A template for your Shopify collections, with a quiz banner in the grid.

Find what leaks, and fix it in the same chat

This is where it gets fun. Claude reads the same reports you see in Studio, so analysis and action live in one conversation:

Know your shoppers

Every quiz answer, search and order builds a shopper profile in bluebarry. From Claude you can ask what those profiles say, size an audience before you target it ("how many people told us they have sensitive skin?"), build segments, and give visitors from a specific ad or source their own experience. Hand over the boring jobs

• Catalog work. Give every product a property, fill in missing values from titles and descriptions, or fix a live product feed mapping.
• Translations. Translate a quiz, popup or search setup into your other languages, with a market's own wording where it needs one.

See it before your shoppers do

Claude renders screenshots of what it built on mobile and desktop, so you review the real thing, not a description of it. Nothing goes live until you say so, and every change is recorded in Studio, in a conversation called "Changes from Claude". Don't like something? Ask Claude to undo it.

You stay in control

You choose how far Claude may go, in Studio under Settings, AI assistants: read only, create and edit, or create, edit and publish. Even with publish rights, Claude shows what changes for shoppers and asks you to confirm every time. Some things never happen from a chat at all: deleting a whole quiz or page, sending email campaigns, and billing, team and integration settings. You sign in on bluebarry's own page, so your password never reaches Claude.
