After an order, bluebarry can show offers on three Shopify pages: the after-payment page before the thank-you page, where shoppers add to the order with one click, the thank-you page and the order status page. On each you decide who gets which offer in one table of rows. Switch a page on or off in its header.
The rows
Open Post-purchase → After payment or Thank-you and Order status. The Who sees what table shows one row per group of shoppers. Each row says in plain sentences what they get and for whom, then what they see if they accept or decline, with its status, its orders and its switch.
- Rows are tried from top to bottom. A shopper gets the first row they fit.
- Everyone else is always last and catches every shopper no row above fits. After payment it can be set to No page, which sends those shoppers straight to the thank-you page.
- Orders counts your orders of the last 90 days each row would have taken. An order counts at the first row that takes it.
- The switch pauses a row without deleting it.
Add a row
Add row opens the templates, each previewed with your own products, or From scratch:
- After payment: Subscription upgrade (switch what they bought to a subscription, the difference refunded; after a no, more of the same), Complete the routine and Stock up.
- Thank-you and order status: Next-step code (products that go with the order and a code for the next one), Subscribe and save and Complete the routine.
A template that needs a subscription app says so. Not sure which fits? Ask Barry: Barry looks at what your store sells and how customers reorder, suggests a template and sets it up.
Who a row is for
Click a row to open it. After payment a row can aim at a segment or at what the order says: products, total, discount code, country, or a new or returning customer. The thank-you and order status pages do not read whether the customer is new or returning, so their rows aim at what was bought or at a segment.
After payment: offers that follow the answer
After payment a row makes a first offer, then at most one follow-up for a yes and one for a no, or one Either way. The kinds are Add a product, Subscribe instead, More of the same and Second chance (only after a no). A subscription switch or more of the same needs such a product in the order; without one it counts as a no and the next offer shows. The Designs card sets one design per kind of offer for the whole page, unless an offer has its own. Under each kind, Panel shows every layout drawn with one of your products; pick one to show that product's name, reasons and saving above the offer in your fonts and colours.
Thank-you and order status: products and codes
Everyone else holds Add to this order and the Next-order code. Other rows keep that offer until you give them their own. Each row sets its own products and wording. Layout and colours · Customize opens the widget for the look all rows share.
Test an order
Click Test an order above the preview and choose the products and market, and after payment the shopper and payment. The row that order gets is marked and opens, and the other rows are dimmed. Shopify shows the after-payment page only for card payments, so an order paid another way, such as with a wallet or iDEAL, skips it and goes straight to the thank-you page.
