bluebarry needs your WooCommerce products to recommend them in quizzes, show them in search and answer questions about them in product chat. The plugin offers two ways to get them there: live sync or a daily CSV feed.
Choose a method
- Live sync (recommended). The plugin pushes product changes to bluebarry as they happen, so your catalog is up to date within minutes. It needs an API key.
- CSV feed. bluebarry imports your products from a feed URL once a day. No API key is needed and no sync work runs on your store. Pick this if your hosting is tight on resources.
You choose under Choose how your products sync on the plugin's settings page (Bluebarry in the WordPress menu). You can switch at any time. Click Save Settings to apply.
Set up live sync
- Select Live sync.
- Under Set up product sync, paste your API Key. Create one in bluebarry under Integrations → Developer area → API keys.
- Keep Automatically sync products when they are created, updated, or deleted ticked.
- Click Save Settings.
- Click Sync All Products Now once. It sends your whole catalog to bluebarry. After that, changes follow automatically.
Set up a CSV feed
- Select CSV feed and click Save Settings.
- Under Your product feed URL, click Copy.
- In bluebarry, go to Products → Feeds and add the URL as a new feed. See Sync and troubleshoot live feeds.
bluebarry then imports the feed every day, and you can start a sync from the feed at any time. The feed URL contains a secret part, the Feed URL path. Anyone with the full URL can read the feed while CSV mode is on, so share it carefully. Clear the path and save to get a fresh URL.
Check the result
In bluebarry, go to Products and check that your products and variations are there. Missing products? Make sure the API key was saved before running a full sync, and turn on debug logging under Optional features. The log shows up in WooCommerce under Status → Logs.
