Building Bluebarry Feeds in Channable

Channable is one of the easiest ways to build and manage your product feed for bluebarry. We've got a dedicated channel that handles all the setup for you.

Finding the bluebarry Channel

When creating a new channel in Channable:

1. Click "Create Channel"
2. Search for "bluebarry"
3. Select our default channel

This automatically includes all mandatory properties and fields needed for your Quiz Funnels. No guesswork required.

Channel Settings

Once you've selected the bluebarry channel:

• Give it a name (default "bluebarry" works fine)
• Target country and market type aren't really relevant – you can skip those
• No categorization is required – we're not a marketplace, so no default product categories needed

Rules Section

Use the standard rules section to:

• Enrich your data
• Make adjustments to field values
• Exclude or include specific products
• Apply any data transformations you need

Standard Channable stuff – nothing special here. But make sure to use those rules to create a clean product feed for your bluebarry environment.

Mapping Your Fields

This is where the magic happens. You'll see four sections:

Mandatory Fields

These three fields are required for bluebarry to work:

• Name → Link to your internal "title" field
• URL → Link to your "website URL" field
• Image URL → Link to your "image link" field

Without these, we can't show product recommendations. Make sure they're properly linked.

Recommended Fields

Price is highly recommended (Duuhhh..)

Optional Fields

Pick any additional fields you want to include.

Manual Section

This is important: Add every property you want to filter on in your Quiz Funnels.

• Want to filter by color? Add your internal "color" field here.
• Need size filtering? Add your "size" field.
• Custom categories? Add those too.

Creating Custom Fields for bluebarry

Sometimes you need a field that doesn't exist in your Channable account yet.

Example: Creating a "bluebarry_category" field:

1. Click "Create new project field"
2. Name it "bluebarry_category"
3. Set type to "text" (unless it contains only numbers)
4. Save and refresh
5. It'll now appear in your field options

This is perfect for creating bluebarry-specific product groupings.

Running Your Feed

After mapping all fields:

1. Run the quality check
2. Save and activate your feed
3. Copy the live feed URL
4. Head over to bluebarry

Importing into bluebarry

Go to Products → Feeds in bluebarry:

1. Click "Create a Feed"
2. Paste your Channable feed URL
3. Our system automatically retrieves your data

Smart Mapping Magic:

We automatically detect properties we recognize and map them for you. For unknown properties, you can choose:

• Text property (for words, categories, etc.)
• Numeric property (for numbers, prices, etc.)

Click "Sync Now" and all your products import into bluebarry with their properties intact.

Now you can build Quiz Funnel logic using all your product data and properties. Easy.
