Add Meta Pixel settings to a landing page so you can measure visitor behavior and improve ad performance for that page.
Connect Meta Pixel
- Go to Landing Pages.
- Open the landing page.
- Click Launch.
- Open the conversion tracking checklist item.
- Enter the Meta Pixel ID in Pixel ID.
- Leave the field so bluebarry saves the value.
- Enter Conversions API access token if you want to send events directly from bluebarry servers.
- Click Meta documentation if you need Meta's token setup guidance.
After the Pixel ID is saved, the landing page is ready to use Meta Pixel tracking. Adding the Conversions API access token improves tracking accuracy by sending events server-side as well.
Events Sent to Meta
Once Meta Pixel is connected, BlueBarry automatically sends the following events:
| Event | Trigger | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| PageView | Landing page page view | Standard Meta event, fired when a visitor opens the landing page. |
| SubscribedButtonClick | Clicking the quiz CTA | Fired when a visitor clicks the call-to-action button to start the quiz. |
| QuizCompleted | Quiz is completed | Custom event that includes the recommended product IDs. |
About the QuizCompleted custom event
The QuizCompleted event is a custom event. You need to create it yourself as a custom event in Meta Events Manager before it appears in your reporting.
If you use the same product IDs in BlueBarry as in your Meta product catalog feed, Meta's algorithm takes the product recommendations into account for retargeting. This means visitors who complete a quiz can be retargeted with ads for the specific products that were recommended to them.
