Setting Up Your Result Page

This guide will help you to properly set up your pre-result page, result page, and result cards. In other words: configure how product recommendations are being displayed to your end users after they complete your advisor (product quiz).

Topics we'll cover

Pre-Results Page Settings

The pre-results page appears after you’ve completed all the questions in your advisor, but before your full results are displayed.

On this page, you can:

Upload an image

  • Add your logo (preferably transparent) to display during the loading screen.
  • Make sure the the logo you upload has a transparant background.

Show a message

  • Add text that appears while results are loading
  • Example: “We are looking for your best match”

Add a background color

  • Choose a background color for the loading screen
  • Use your brand colors for consistency

💡 Bluebarry automatically adds animated dots (…) to indicate loading.

Result Page Settings

The results page displays the final product suggestions shown to your end users. On this page, you can configure the following settings:

Header settings

  • Title: Set the main heading for your result page
  • Description: Add supporting text below the title to provide context

Product card settings

  • “Assign pricing property”: Select the property containing your product prices. This will be used across all result cards.
  • “Assign discount property”: Choose the property with discounted prices. If no discount exists, only regular price shows.
  • “Show pricing text”: Add additional text to display with prices. Example: “Excluding VAT” for your B2B customers.
  •

Adjusting the settings of each result card

Sorting options

Best Match (Default)

  • Products sorted by how well they match user answers
  • Recommended for most cases

Sorting by a custom property

  • Sort by specific numeric properties
  • Choose “highest first” or “lowest first”
  • Example: Sort by customer rating, stock levels or margins.

💡 Why some high-matching products don’t appear in your result cards

If you’ve set up ranking questions, you might notice products in your matching overview with higher matching percentages that don’t appear in your final results, while products with lower scores do show up.

This typically happens because of how your result cards are prioritized. The card settings (sorting options or forced products) can override matching percentages when choosing which products to display.

Forced product (optional)

Use this setting to force a specific product to appear in a card. This settings ignores the end user’s preferences, and will always show up. Best for temporary promotions or high-priority items

Display elements

Card Label

  • Add a descriptive header for each card
  • Examples: “Best Match”, “Customer Favorite”, “Budget Pick”

Call-to-Action Button

  • Customize the button text
  • Examples: “View Product”, “Shop Now”, “See Details”

Product Properties

  • Show additional product information that is pulled from a specific property.
  • Examples: Delivery time, warranty period, key features
